The 2026 Data Centre Solutions Awards Winners were announced at a gala evening on May 14 at the Leonardo Royal Hotel London St Pauls.

Now in its 16th year, the DCS Awards returned to spotlight the outstanding achievements driving innovation and growth across the data centre sector. This prestigious event recognised success stories, pioneering technologies, and the individuals and organisations shaping the industry’s future.

Awards That Reflected an Evolving Industry
The data centre landscape is transforming rapidly, driven by innovation and global priorities. Sustainability continues to take centre stage, with operators adopting renewable energy, advancing energy efficiency, and working toward carbon neutrality. AI and machine learning are becoming core to operations - optimising cooling, predicting maintenance needs, and reducing energy use.

The rise of IoT and demand for ultra-low latency is fuelling the growth of edge data centres, while hybrid architectures are combining central and edge facilities to deliver greater resilience and performance. Security remains critical, with organisations deploying stronger defences through encryption, AI-powered threat detection, and zero-trust frameworks.

Amid these shifts, data centres continue to provide the robust foundation of the digital world.

This year’s award categories reflected today’s priorities, with a spotlight on ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) initiatives alongside technological and operational excellence.
